Why Philosophy? Athena Teaching Student

Overall, philosophy is an excellent part of any student's general University Education. Courses in philosophy can be taken towards several degrees; and virtually all programs of study at SDSU can be enriched by the inclusion of one or more of our courses. Masters programs are offered for students who wish to go on to do graduate study in Philosophy.

The Graduate Philosophy Club

The Philosophy Club was founded in 2005 and is ran by philosophy students at SDSU. The goal of the club is the enlightenment of the group and the individual in all things philosophical. We intend to provide a social and enjoyable forum for promoting clear thinking and exchange of ideas on a variety of issues, as well as promoting student success in publication and educational interests.
